Jose Cuervo has been making tequila for more than 250 years, using the same experience, craftsmanship and recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. The products are still made in the oldest brewery still in use in Latin America, ‘La Rojena’ (founded in 1812). Jose Cuervo is a world leader in the tequila sector.

We make Jose Cuervo Silver using the same process as Jose Cuervo Gold, but do not use a long maturation period. This produces a unique, fresh agave flavour note to create the perfect tequila blend.

Jose Cuervo Especial Reposado

It takes four months of maturation in heat-treated American oak barrels for this to gain its unique colour and the Reposado label. Further maturation gives Jose Cuervo Especial Reposado its smooth flavour profile, making it perfect as a chilled shot.

Jose Cuervo Reserva de la Familia Platino

40% vol

A fully fledged agave Silver Tequila. The result of a very careful selection of agave from the Tequila Valley, Platino is made by a unique process using ‘agave extract’. This gives it its typical agave flavour and its exceptional smoothness.

Crystal clear with silver and grey touches.
Aroma
Stewed agave, aromatic herbs, caramel, fruit, a soft mix of spice and a slightly smoky note.
Flavour

Jose Cuervo Reserva de la Familia

A particularly old, particularly distinctive Agave Tequila (extra añejo). It is made from agave harvested from a single field. Reserva de la Familia is a professional blend of old tequilas from French and American oak barrels. Their average age is three years, and the tequila is made using chill filtering at 0°C.

1800 Añejo – Jose Cuervo Reserva

1800 tequilas are made according to age-old tradition from 100% blue Weber agave, harvested by hand from the mineral-rich volcanic soils of Jalisco (Mexico) at between eight and twelve years old. 1800 Silver, Reposado and Añejo are well-balanced tequilas that meet exacting standards.

Characteristics
100% blue Agave. Aged for two to three years in primarily French oak barrels, together with a small quantity of American oak barrels.
Serving suggestion
Experience maximum enjoyment in small portions served straight or on the rocks, together with a Millionaire’s Margarita. This is a super premium tequila.
Colour
Dark amber with hints of copper.
Aroma
Heat-treated oak, vanilla, cinnamon and clove with touches of creamy caramel and chocolate.
Flavour

1800 Reposado – Jose Cuervo Reserva

Characteristics
100% blue agave. Reposado – a mixture of tequilas matured for six to eight months in primarily American and French oak barrels, together with one-year-old tequilas. Mild agave, a touch of herb and oak, plus orange peel, vanilla and creamy caramel. A delicately sweet flavour with a touch of vanilla and a mild, buttery oak note, plus a hint of delicate agave.
Serving suggestion
1800 Reposado is the key element in a margarita cocktail. Enjoy straight and chilled, or on the rocks with a splash of orange.

1800 Silver will transform a commonplace Bloody Mary into a Bloody Maria. It can be served on the rocks with a touch of lime, or straight and chilled.
