La Ticinella

Grappa la Ticinella from Ticino is made from premium Merlot grapes. The marc resulting from wine and grape processing forms the basis of any pomace brandy. How quickly this marc is further processed is vitally important. The skill and careful touch of la Ticinella’s master distiller makes it a smooth, well-balanced grappa. It makes a wonderful digestif.

La Ticinella – Grappa 10 Anni

41.5% vol.

For La Ticinella 10 anni, we have let this noble distillate to mature for an additional 10 years in a barrique (oak barrel) to acquire a complex aroma structure and its early autumn chestnut leaf colour. The wooden barrel used is a Ticino Merlot wine barrel. Like the Merlot wine, the grappa is extremely harmonious. The long barrel storage gives him also fine wooden notes, subtle roasted and sublime vanilla, fruit and nut aromas.

La Ticinella – Grappa con Erba Ruta

41.5% vol.

Grappa La Ticinella is distilled from top-quality Merlot marc. Careful selecting and rapid processing leave it pleasantly harmonious. The addition of Erba Ruta (rue or common rue in English) gives it an idiosyncratic spicy note.

La Ticinella – Grappa Riserva

41.5% vol.

Grappa La Ticinella Riserva is distilled from the finest Merlot marc. It is then matured using a solera system. The youngest portion spends at least four years in barrels. Combining liquids of various different ages in the solera system gives La Ticinella Riserva exceptional complexity and depth.
