Bushmills
In 1608, the Old Bushmills brewery was awarded the world’s first licence to distil whiskey. Here at the tranquil Bushmills, everything – from distillation to bottling – is performed under one roof. Bushmills has always used triple distillation, giving the whiskey a special, pleasantly appealing lightness. When young, Bushmills whiskey is characterised by wonderful freshness and a sweet, rounded spice. Older vintages pair clarity and freshness with a fascinating full-bodied style.

Nose
A sweet, warm, malty aroma reminiscent of apple pie, resounding with Oloroso sherry notes plus a touch of vanilla and honey.
Palate
Sweetness in the attack is followed by malt notes and fruitiness. Sherry aromas also come through in the mix. The malt then takes on a drier note in the finish, but does not impair the overall impression.
Finish
A lingering presence. A touch of chocolate reminiscent of bourbon.
