Burla Negra - rum with a slightly salty note

BURLANEGRA is a select range of twice-aged Caribbean rums:
FIRST AGING:
Distilled in the Dominican Republic and aged for 12 months in American oak barrels.
SECOND AGING:
Aged for a further 6 months in selected AMONTILLADO sherry casks from OSBORNE in the Osborne wineries in El Puerto de Santa Maria.
Water supply
Approximately 16% of the water supplied is salt water from the Atlantic Ocean.

Dark amber colour with a brilliant shine.
Matured Caribbean rum with refined nuances, characterised by the exceptional Jerez Amontillado sherry casks, which impart notes of fine Jerez wood, hazelnut, candied orange and toffee caramel with subtle hints of sea breeze.
Rich complexity of aromas, surprising wineiness with a daring salty note and a lingering finish in which dried fruit and old oak stand out.
