Le Chat Premium Rum Distilled in Switzerland

LeChat Rum is produced in Switzerland in the traditional pot still process. This method of distillation retains the natural aromas that develop during the distillation process in the distillate and thus produces extremely complex and aromatic products. It is thanks to the master distiller that only the "distillate heart" finds its way into the barrels. 

In order to develop the aromatic profile in an exquisite way and to further take into account the Swissness of Le Chat, the distillate is stored in 4 different barrels, which are made of typical local woods such as oak, chestnut, walnut and acacia. The master blender then ensures that these differently matured distillates are blended in the optimum proportion and lead to this unique taste experience. 

Le Chat is characterized by a mix of vanilla, forest honey, tobacco and fresh wood. Rum-typical notes of sugar cane juice and dark molasses bind themselves harmoniously into this variety of tastes. The finish impresses with a woody-spicy infinity accompanied by honey.
