The traditional cognac house Rémy Martin, founded in 1724, is celebrating its 300th anniversary this year and has launched the limited anniversary edition Rémy Martin 300th Anniversary Coupe to mark the occasion.
This exclusive special edition is a tribute to three centuries of exceptional cognac production. Rémy Martin 300th Anniversary Coupe was created by cellar master Baptiste Loiseau from eaux-de-vie sourced exclusively from the famous Grande Champagne terroir. These very limited eaux-de-vie from the centre of the Cognac region are characterised by their unique ageing potential and outstanding aromatic quality.
For this special edition, Loiseau drew on the house's ‘Perpetual Reserve’ - a unique heritage passed down from generation to generation and already used for previous anniversary editions - an invisible link between past and future.
‘The eternal reserve is as much a process as a legacy. When a new coupe is created, part of it is kept for future cellar masters. To create the 300th Anniversary Coupe, I have further refined this assemblage with the rarest treasures from our cellars. By keeping back a part of this precious Coupe 300th Anniversary, the story will continue for future generations.’ Baptiste Loiseau, Cellar Master of the House of Rémy Martin
The anniversary edition is presented in a handcrafted, iconic glass decanter decorated with embossed lines. These symbolise the throw of the centaur's spear, the iconic symbol of the House of Rémy Martin since 1870. The carafe is presented in a customised wooden box with a personal note from the cellar master and a QR code offering exclusive access to digital content about the history and production of this unique cuvée.
In a limited edition of only 6,724 individually numbered bottles worldwide, Rémy Martin 300th Anniversary Coupe is a true rarity and will only be available in selected specialist shops and gastronomy.
